Sepeda Bali: Adventure Cycling Tours

This full day adventure downhill cycling tour will take you off the beaten path and through the heart of Bali. Balinese twins Wayan and Ketut will guide you through exotic jungles, luscious farms, expansive rice-fields and villages rarely seen by visitors to Bali. From volcanos to beaches and waterfalls; this adventure tour delivers above and beyond, taking you away from the villa-laden streets of Ubud and straight to the soul of Bali.

The day begins with hotel pick-up, driving you to heritage listed rice terraces and a wood carving village before heading to the heart of Bali, Kintamani. After picking your jaw up off the floor from the epic views of Mount Batur and the surrounding valley (seriously, amazing!) you will eat breakfast with your fellow riders to fuel up for your journey.

Jump on a bike and begin the 35 kilometre (22 mile) adventure into the jungles of Kintamani as you move downhill (yes… downhill!) through farmlands, villages, bamboo forests and local temples. Along the way Wayan and Ketut will show you where you can sample local seasonal fruit directly from the trees, and guide you to an epic waterfall to get those perfect insta-worthy snaps!

Finally, immerse yourself even further into Balinese culture as you arrive at the twins family compound in Klungkung for a freshly home-cooked Balinese buffet (veg & non-veg available). The tour ends with a final optional activity; where you can recover on a beautiful black sand beach or have a refreshing dip in a local waterfall.

Sepeda Bali are all about quality from the itinerary to the standard of bikes. You won’t have to battle any rickety-rackety bikes here, they offer only the best along with helmets and protective knee & elbow pads.

Tours are capped at 10 persons per group and appropriate for all levels of fitness with options for increased difficulty for groups who like to take things up a notch.
