After the curtain call in December 2022, Mozaic Gastronomic Restaurant Bali swung open its doors with a fresh breeze and a new concept by re-vamping their lounge to the new 'Tipple Room'. Along with their iconic fine dining venue (Dining Rooms) – this new addition to Mozaic's repertoire is a whole new way to dine!

Chris Salans and Blake Thornley, the culinary masterminds behind Mozaic's magic, didn't just stop at revamping the interiors and rolling out new set menus.

They said, "Hold our spatulas, we've got more in store!" That's when the Tipple Room was born – an a-la-carte dining affair that strips away the fuss and fancy of traditional fine dining and makes it all about the food.

“We’re changing things up at Mozaic, making it a laid-back yet elegant dining experience. You can dive into the magic of Mozaic with three different dining options this year, and more to come next year,” Chris Salans explains. You've probably heard of Mozaic's signature long tasting menus, right? Well, now you can savor a more casual side with the a-la-carte menu. It's a fresh spin on the classic Mozaic experience.

Hold up, there's more. Blake Thornley adds, “We’re making Mozaic accessible to a wider audience. Our Tipple Room is a modern dining haven – chill vibes, walk-in wine cellar, killer cocktails, and an open kitchen where you can see the chefs in action.” Talk about a dinner and a show!

Starting this year Mozaic is serving up not one, not two, but three dining experiences under its tropical roof:

1. Dining Room: The classic, air-conditioned dining room set in the lush garden, where Mozaic's renowned tasting menus still reign. Open daily from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

2. Tipple Room: A kitchen-bar-lounge fusion with a wine room, mixology flair, and seasonal sharing plates. Open daily from 12:00 pm to 01:00 am.

3. Chef’s Table: A beautiful air-conditioned space where the chefs deliver an interactive cooking experience based on Mozaic's signature flavors. Dinner kicks off from 7:30 pm onwards.

Chef Thornley is all about the vibes. "Mixing it up is what's in vogue. We're offering various experiences under one roof because people want variety.

It's the future of food and hospitality," he explains. But it doesn't stop at the ambiance. This talented team is all about showcasing local ingredients with oomph and adding a dash of sustainability to the menu. They are working their magic with local suppliers, creating a symphony of flavors that's not just delicious but also environmentally responsible.

Now, here's the scoop on the Tipple Room. With this new addition, Mozaic's pushing boundaries and giving the fine dining scene a reboot. Sharing plates, a walk-in wine haven, mixology in full swing, and live cooking straight from Nayati's swanky new kitchen are the stars of this show.

Located in the Workshop, it is an experience that brings together the joy of eating delicious food with the sensory experience of watching the creative masterminds prepare each dish. The team of Mozaic chef's cook live in front of your very own eyes. Open for dinner every Wednesday to Sunday 7:30pm, the Chef’s Table is a truly unique experience in Ubud where you can enjoy the fun and creativity on offer at Mozaic as well as the sensational flavors!
